Scanning: Preferred file format is .jpg. But I can read any standard graphics file.
Nick Shrauger uses Adobe Photoshop to scan photos as (Kodak) .pcds, 16 million
colors, even for B&W. The detail is excellent even after converting to .jpg for this site.
File size: If you send them to Jerise by Email file attached, the upper limit is about 1.5 MB.
.Pcd file size is large; Nick's ran 4 MB. A collection of .Pcds can be written on CD-ROM
for mailing.
