Honkey GoKart (Umperio Bogarto in Italian, his name is a play on "Humphrey Bogart") is a private detective created by Carlo Chendi and used in several Italian "Duck" stories. While searching for his spaceship OK Quack he met Honkey who lives in the same "hotel" where he lives (they live next door to eachother). Honkey was already living there paying his rent helping his homesteader to search customers who fled without paying bills. O.K. then requested the services of this strange detective. Honkey fantasizes living a life like Sam Spade or Philip Marlowe, but he is really just a simpleton unable to solve even the easiest of cases. In some more recent stories Honkey is working with Fethry Duck but these are not very memorable. |
