| BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS: |
Buck Duck (a.k.a. Buckaroo Duck) is a character who first appears in "Walt Disney Comics Digest" #7 (1969) and a few more times thereafter. He is the local hero of the frontier town called Hotlead Hollow. His girlfriend is the Saloon matron Calamity Duck, his horse's name is Spot, and his favorite drink is "Iced Sassafras Tea." The only other continuing character in his strips is the old codger and pacifist sheriff named Chicken Duck. After several stories, apparently Buck Duck was promoted to town sheriff [as revealed in "Donald Duck" #131, May 1970]. Buck Duck is a contemporay and friend to Donald Duck and the Nephews, though whether there is any family relation is unknown. |
| HISTORICAL FACTS: |
Buckaroo, better known as "Buck Duck" is not to be confused with Donald's relative also called "Buck Duck" who appeared in "Donald Duck" #91 "The Overnight Hero" (Nov. 1963). |

| WORKING THEORIES: |
I am not sure what ever became of this character after his brief run in "Walt Disney's Comic Digest," but he was not very memorable [IMHO comicbook fans are not missing much]. |
