If you ever thought you wanted a Bus Conversion they don’t get any better than this. The bus was manufactured by GMC in 1961 and operated by a charter bus company. It was never a Greyhound. The conversion was done by the previous owner for full time living. He and his wife lived in it for 3-1/2 years. It’s been garaged since we bought it in 2005. My wife and I just don’t find the time to make the week or month long trips this bus is so well suited for. If we did, it wouldn’t be for sale.

Description: 1960 GMC 4104
This beautiful coach was converted by a master craftsman, with attention to every detail inside and out. She rides smooth and purrs like a kitten. Painted a deep forest green with metallic flakes and a white cap, this coach is very attractive as she rolls down the road on her polished aluminum Alcoa wheels. The 671 Detroit Diesel engine was installed in late 2006. It was driven from South Carolina to California and back just after installation and those are the only miles on this engine, so it is still like new. It gets good fuel mileage and cruises along easily at 65-70+ miles an hour. This is a very reliable coach, perfect for a couple who likes to hit the road…hook-ups or dry camping… it’s got it all. There are way too many features to list and the craftsmanship must be seen to truly appreciate.
Some of the features:
671 Detroit Diesel engine with low miles
4 speed manual transmission with air brakes
Sheppard power steering
Original GMC steering wheel
1 roof AC with 2 fantastic fans

Air leveling system

4-burner gas stove/oven
Ceramic tile in kitchen, hall and bathroom

Description: GMC 4104
This antique coach has been well maintained. We have most receipts. Originally this coach was converted by an engineer for the airline industry. Because of that, it has many airplane novelties such as an altimeter. The engine was rebuilt and converted to Detroit 6v71/238 in 2005. It has only 500 miles on it since rebuilt. This update allows for more power. It gets between 8-10 miles per gallon and will cruise right along at 65-70 miles per hour all day long. This coach is not a party coach but a reliable coach for everyday living and boon docking. We love this coach but health reasons forces sale.
