The way I interpreted this note is that Qpo is indicating he feels that the challenge posed by the Tea Baggers & sympathizers to the infrastructure and practice of the peace activists needs a fuller and appropriately radical response, that has not yet fully arisen.
For me, the issue is the "clinical gaze" and that until we fully engage the psychology developed in Trieste and elsewhere, based on Foucault's critique of 'The Clinic', we are not sufficiently taking on this new and problematic social direction we are seeing.
I'm sure there are 100's of insightful perspectives on this list - critical responses to the challenge posed. It would be good to pull them together some.
