I don't want to let this thread die. I want to hear your suggestions on how to make the Network a more "grassroots" organization. I have heard your complaints but never any suggestions to satisfy those complaints. I have asked Andrew and Lll on several occassions and I get no answers only complaints.
To say Lll and Andrew are "incomprehensible" is mental health talk, a behavioral put-down.
Your remark is inauthentic and hurtful. It calls for an apology to both me and Lll, who've been hurt by it.
We introduced you to Sharon Clausen personally and explained to you the project of "beauty path" as a Vision of how to overcome the "slough of 'recovery'" and put reform back on track. I've heard Sharon praised here by Vvv because of her good character and helping out with the Santa Barbara clients. She has made a valiant effort in the Far North and statewide to move the MHSA dialogue in the direction of
real change in behavioral science. Her piece Walk this Way speaks for itself, She's worked arm-in-arm with Margena McGee who has organized the Native American role in the MHSA.Klm, you did not follow up with Sharon.
My opinion is that women are people and have ideas and insight that can possibly be deep and profound and worth following up on. What is the problem here?
