By Friday, there were no clents in attendance. If clients wont voluntarily attend the PRC, then it will be attended by clients forced into out patient treatment. ........ I love it! Remember that old line What if they gave a war and nobody came? But seriously folks .. This is part and parcel of the quality problem that has to do with distorting with words. Maybe we should insist on real words here that each person pressured into such a program has been involuntarily drafted. Whay are the mentally ill the only people left in the U.S. who are eligible for the draft? And not only that we dont get paid! And what about our combat injuries? When are we going to be compensated like other injured vets for our war wounds? And Tom again: I would like to be involved in a discussion about coercion. Im not in favor of it, but it isnt all that black and white. Is a little coercion ok?? Is shmoozing coercion? Is holding a gun to your head coercion? Where is the line drawn?? Well, there always will be coercion and some may be necessary. So lets just insist they call it coercion instead of recovery. Sharon | ||||||||
