Trust is a leap of faith.

I take those countless times a day. I feel I live in a constantly tenuous reality between the past and the future on the brink of now.

My encounters with others are opportunities to experience ways of being, occasions to inform and be informed and times to make contact.

Trust is blind faith.

I have that when I trust the sun will stay aloft and the earth will continue to support me.

I’ve become very literal and concrete over the years in my language. I learned to give up “poetry, symbols and codes” in favor of literal and concrete in an effort to be clearly understood in my communications. So I don’t use metaphors, similes or analogies, either.

As you can imagine I find many disrespectful people in the system and many people who have ridiculed me. Currently, I have a therapist and a psychiatrist who treat me respectfully. I truly appreciate them for this.

Today, I think, I cannot, so much, change the world, as I can only find, and be with, those of like mind and heart, and take comfort and solace in that like company.
