Subject: [s-acc] NCMHCSO meeting Thursday

Many people on this list will be in Omaha this coming weekend. The National Coalition is holding its annual meeting off-site Thurs. 6 - 9PM.

I'm glad the National Coalition is contributing to building the political presence of our movement. However I've found their political Vision is limited and their approach to collaboration with "grassroots advocacy" is deficient. If people feel like I do, I'd suggest we construct an "S-ACC" statement of how we'd like NCMHCSO to expand and enrich its networking and engagement, and then that some of us present that to the meeting.

My main concern would be that we attend carefully to the matter of respect/dignity, in our communication with NC.
