Hi

On Mon Jun 23 8:08 PDT, Ttt sent:

I usually don't post much on this list regarding my Christian work because I realize we have members of different religions. But, I would like to share (below) part of what I teach in the Christian version of an eight-week workshop that I wrote titled "Relationship Survival 101." ..

I don't have Ttt's approach to this matter although it's functional. I tend to see the disconnect between X1 and X2 on this matter to be impacted by the 'normal' way arguments in psychology are resolved. Kant I believe explained how to represent one's advocacy categorically. Both of these folks have distanced themselves from the "conventional psychology" approach. But differently. Ttt's is a third, more experientially direct approach. I no doubt have mine.

So I don't know if the issue is "love" but rather how we do behavioral science in a way that expresses the values and feelings of "freedom and dignity."

Yesterday I went to a press conference for the Berkeley tree-sitters. I advised a psychiatrist friend of mine regarding M.L. King Jr.'s advocacy for changing the way we do "behavioral science" .. and he made the "creative maladjustment" insight the key to his presentation to the media on behalf of the people in the trees.
