[Dean of Journalism] Neil Henry, it turns out, was the roommate of Jane Mayer's husband "before she married him."
I asked Jane about "positive psychology." I realize she's having trouble getting to the bottom of the "Seligman matter." She said she'd heard of it, but wasn't fully conversant on what it means.
In response to a question on the role of the APA, she was .. full of feeling, but did not feel she was in any position to make a definitive statement on such a complex matter.
Only, that something is "very wrong" with the "soul of America."
She also said there were a lot of good people in positions of power now/recently and that that was a "bright side."
