Sharon Clausen developed that notion working with the Native American "mental health" advocacy in the Far North of Calif. FYI.

This 'beauty path' notion is parallel with "proletarian intellectual" in Gramsci, with "creative maladjustment" in the terms of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Everyone should take that trip. If I'm going to be brainwashed I'd rather it be positive and at the same time practical. Kind words alone don't feed and clothe.
