I heard your presentation on DN! and I liked it.

Amy had me on last, and her other interviews went long, so I knew I had to use the short amount of time well. I had given the diapering quite a bit of thought, since it was a technique that seemed to sprout from the unconscious of the torturers and not from SERE. I think Freud would call it anal sadism.

Amy seems to be "stuck" on a certain point.  As I've figured it, she studied under (Laura) Nader which promotes a certain attitude towards "torture denial."  I keep wondering what it will take to get her to develop a straightforward relationship with "client/survivor" activism.

Yet she needs it, as "speaking to the madness" is converging over into the "madness of our times."  How do we reach out to her intuition, to help her reach her "unconscious" as you would say?
