On Saturday, March 31, 2007, several MARA volunteers cleared weeds to beautify one of the small community plots in our neighborhood, the Irwin Triangle. From this area, situated on Irwin between Mission and Belle, a group of eight neighborhood volunteers removed unsightly debrisincluding "thousands" of thistlesby the end of the day, drawing one's attention to the colorful plantings bordering the walk.
