P, R, S words

based on John Halloren's Sumerian Lexicon

modified by Fred Hamori as Sumerian & FU List
I included Hungarian formatives in brackets (formative). Such formatives are often dropped in written Sumerian, since the logograms make them irrelevant.  However the spoken language must have had them, to differentiate the many meanings of each homonymic root word.  The goal is not to try to match Hungarian word forms onto Sumerian but to translate Sumerian phonemes to Hungarian as they are. Therefore word order changes and the lack of formatives are kept the way they are.  Simple words often are close whereas combined words tend to have metathesis at times. The metathesis can often be explained by the Sumerian morphological differences, that may use common morpheme but in a different order.  Also the FU languages
had not one but a half a dozen different formatives that daughter languages may and do change to fit their needs and when it becomes unnecessary drops them. These differentiate the many uses of a common root word.
