I sold my 1996 Honda Pacific Coast last June (almost a full year ago), and I recently came across a vest I had custom-ordered from the California PC800 group a few years (5?) back. It's a XL denim vest with a RED PC800 embroidered on the front and back. It's in perfect condition. Now that I own a Victory, I clearly have no more use for the vest, and it's such a nice item that someone out there should own it. I can't remember for the life of me what I paid for it, but I'd be willing to sell it (I think I only wore it twice) for $30, including shipping and handling. The owners name is Doug Fox. Nice guy about 45 years old who doesn't want to ride anymore but the bike isn't exactly "prime". The engine started and sounded fine although I didn't ride it because the appearance was disappointing. The paint's not too bad in general but it has a large scrape (just the paint not into the plastic) on the right saddle bag and a crack all the way through about 2 inches long on top of the left. The radio and speakers have been removed leaving obvious holes and there are scars on the tipover wings on the right side. The dash suffers from the notorious Hondaline windshield "meltdown" syndrome and it appears to be leaking brake fluid (1 drop on the wheel) from the right side caliper. Oh, it has either a Corbin seat or the stock seat has been recovered with the same "basketweave" embossed vinyl that Corbin uses. The price looked so good in the paper I thought I might speculate on it but it would require more effort than I'm willing to expend to bring it up to market value. It might make someone a good fix-me-upper though. If someone on the list wants me to explore this "bargain" further for them, let me know.
