I will be your Voice on the MROSD
For openers, I will actively pursue:
removal of "Eminent Domain" powers from the District, so that never again will we see the abuse of power displayed in the "Russian Nun's Property" fiasco.
restoration of the "Park District" name and function, which is what was voted on in 1976.
a Master Plan which includes "revenue producing" open space land use.
a moratorium on acquisitions until the "debt service" portion of the budget($5.8 million) is covered by "revenue" generated from open space land use.
increased access for "all" users, with time-slice access where necessary
